Emrin

Some shops sell bicycles. Emrin sells trust, expertise, and a passion that has been passed down for over a hundred years. For this family-owned bike shop, Tailormate, commissioned by Mossoux Architecten, created the complete interior design for an impressive new building. A project in which the rich history of Emrin effortlessly merges with a contemporary retail experience, ready for the next generation of cyclists.

A bike shop built around the customer

The new building spans two floors and houses an extensive range of bicycles, accessories, and apparel, complemented by modern consultation and workspaces. We created a fully bespoke interior featuring display furniture, product walls, a reception desk, fitting rooms, and a store layout that intuitively guides customers through the various departments. The first floor has also been designed as a fully functional retail space, supplemented by offices that support daily operations. Warm wood accents, black steel structures, and carefully integrated lighting create an interior that feels as high-quality as the service for which Emrin has been known for four generations. This ensures that every customer not only finds the right bike but also enjoys a retail experience that is perfectly in gear.
